Over 13,000 vaccine doses have been administered through our community pharmacy vaccination site since we commenced vaccinations, in Mid-May. This has been whilst we've continued to provide all our essential pharmacy services, fulfill all our contractual agreements with NHS England, and dispense tens of thousands of prescriptions.
Over 2,750 staff hours have been dedicated to the programme, alongside over 500 volunteer hours. We're very proud be supporting our community even further, with this ongoing service. This has only been made possible thanks to the amazing dedication of our staff and colleagues — to which we thank you very much.
If you are currently in an eligible cohort for COVID-19 Immunisation, you can now book to have it at our Local Vaccination Site, which is operating weekly, supporting the COVID-19 Vaccine rollout in our area.
This booking can be made through the NHS National COVID-19 Vaccination Booking System, at www.nhs.uk/book-a-coronavirus-vaccination, or by calling 119. We do also accept walk-in appointments at some of our clinics. Please visit www.wellwaycentral.co.uk/grab-a-jab for more information.
Any available appointments will at our site will be displayed when searching for places to book your vaccination. If you're searching in Morpeth and the surrounding area, you'll find our site will be displayed alongside any available appointments.

Wellway Pharmacy Morpeth is located in the heart of Morpeth, alongside Valens Medical Partnership's Wellway Surgery. We are in close proximity to Morpeth Bus Station, ample amounts of parking, and have accessible parking and step-free access available.
We also use Wellway Surgery space kindly provided by Valens Medical Partnership to run our Vaccination Clinics, so ample space will be available both inside and outside the venue.
Onsite parking is available for our COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics, however space is limited so we are asking people to only use these spaces when absolutely necessary, as there is abundant free car parking around the venue. Disabled parking and step-free access is available for those who require it.
As COVID-19 Vaccination moves into part of our core services, we will predominantly offer vaccinations during pharmacy hours. Please enter our pharmacy through the front entrance to Wellway Surgery (through the automatic doors), and report to the pharmacy counter (on the right as you walk in), where our friendly staff will greet you and check you in.
