Our Wellway Pharmacy COVID-19 Vaccination site continues to immunise the region, and we are opening our clinics on bank holidays and late evenings to help deliver as many booster vaccines as possible. Give yourself an extra Christmas present, and book your vaccination appointment with us this December, at www.nhs.uk/CovidVaccination. Please also keep an eye out for details of walk-in vaccination availability, which will be advertised shortly.
These dates and times are subject to change, as we may add or curtail clinics due to staff availability and demand. The most up-to-date list of clinics is always at www.wellwaycentral.co.uk/covid-vaccination.

Please be aware that many General Practices will have limited opening times over the Christmas and New Year period - so please plan ahead, and order any repeat medication in plenty of time. We recommend ordering your repeat medication at least seven days before you are due to run out of it.
We understand due to the intense pressure on primary care currently, some patients are struggling to get in contact with their GP Surgeries, or order repeat medication in a timely fashion. Unfortunately these delays are outside of our control. We are not affiliated to any GP Practices, and therefore cannot expedite any processes, or bypass any lines of enquiry. We have to wait for a prescription to be authorised and signed by your GP practice, before dispensing it.
Thank you for your understanding on this matter.
We understand that COVID-19 Rapid Lateral Flow Test Kits are in great demand currently, and we are working hard to maintain our stock levels of these. We hold a steady stock of these tests at all of our pharmacies, however during periods of extreme high demand we may run out of this stock, until the next working day when we can receive another delivery.
All patients must now bring a 'collect code' with them to access a supply of COVID-19 Lateral Flow tests from our pharmacies. Please visit gov.uk/get-collect-code to get your code before attending our pharmacy, to avoid delays and queues. Thank you for your co-operation.
At our Wellway Pharmacy Morpeth site, you can benefit from increased flexibility when collecting your medicines. Join our 24-hour prescription collection service today, and you can collect your prescriptions when it suits you — even on days when we're closed during the festive period, such as on Christmas Day.
Please note items will not be dispensed or added to the service during days on which the pharmacy is closed.
