Wearing a face covering is now mandatory across our pharmacy sites to protect yourself, other patients and our staff members.
A face covering can consist of any fabric or material that covers both your nose and mouth. It is imperative the fabric covers both your nose and mouth, to decrease the likelihood of droplets passing from you to others, or vice versa.
Face coverings now must also be worn whilst shopping supermarkets, other shops, and of course on public transport and in NHS settings.
Those who do not wear a face covering without reason not to risk a fine.
A full list of exemptions can be found via the link below. This includes exemptions for those under the age of 11, or those with disabilities or certain health conditions, such as respiratory or cognitive impairments that make it difficult for them to wear a face covering.
