Text Notifications: Explained
How do the text messages work?
When you provide us with your mobile phone number, our system can automatically track the dispensing progress of any prescriptions we receive for you. When the prescription is ready to collect, we’ll send you a text, letting you know it’s ready – and also how many items it’s for, and if there’s anything still outstanding – saving you time and trips to the pharmacy.
Can we still use your 24-hour collection service?
Our revolutionary 24/7 collection point at Wellway Pharmacy Morpeth will remain operational just as before – you’ll not notice any changes whatsoever, except for a more efficient dispensing of prescriptions, getting your medicines to you quicker. You find out more about our 24/7 collection point via the link below.

I would like to receive these texts on behalf of someone else. Is this possible?

Ask the person you’d like to receive the texts for to complete the registration form, indicating that they are using a representative’s phone number, and that they give permission for this to be used.
Opting out of the service
We’re sorry to hear you no longer wish to receive text messages from us – we only use these for informing you of the status of your prescription, and never pass your details on to anyone else.
To opt-out, please either complete our registration form, selecting the ‘opt out’ button, or alternatively get in touch with your pharmacy directly – we’ll be more than happy to help.
Changing my phone number
Please use our registration form and input your new phone number, selecting the ‘updating details’ option, or alternatively please get in touch directly with your pharmacy site and we’ll be more than happy to help.
