PROVIDING NHS SERVICES
NHS COVID-19 Vaccination
We’re proud to have been vaccinating the community against COVID-19 since mid-2021. Our NHS service offers free protection against this respiratory illness every Winter and Spring, for those most vulnerable.

Preparing for the NHS Spring COVID-19 Booster
Thank you to the over 1,800 patients who chose to get vaccinated with us in Autumn 2025 to January 2026.
We’re now working on preparing for the Spring Booster COVID-19 Vaccination Service which will launch in April 2026. Find further information on eligibility below. Bookings will be available from April 2026. Why not join our mailing list to be alerted when bookings start?
Eligible Patients for NHS Spring COVID Vaccination:
- adults aged 75 years and over
- residents in care homes for older adults
- individuals who are immunosuppressed aged 6 months and over (we can vaccinate patients 18 years and over at our pharmacies).

Immunosuppressed patients aged 6 months and over can access free NHS COVID-19 Vaccinations. If you’re 18 or over, you can get this from our pharmacies. You’ll usually be told by your Doctor or the NHS if you’re immunosuppressed and therefore eligible, but we’ve listed some eligible groups below:

- Those being treated with systemic steroids for more than a month
- Those living with HIV
- Those receiving immunosuppressive or immunomodulating biological therapy, including children who are about to receive therapy
- Those undergoing chemotherapy or radiotherapy
- Those requiring long-term treatment for immunosuppression
- Those with a history of haematological malignancy including chronic leukaemia, lymphomas, and leukaemia
- Those with genetic disorders affecting the immune system
While this list summarises some major groups, it does not cover everything. Please check online at nhs.uk/get-vaccine to see if you are eligible. If you’re unsure of your eligibility – don’t hesitate to get in touch! We’re more than happy to help and will offer you an NHS Vaccination if you’re eligible.

Frequently Asked Questions.
COVID-19 can be serious, especially for older adults, and those with underlying health conditions. Vaccination is the best way to protect yourself, reduce your risk of serious illness, and help prevent spreading COVID-19 to others.
The types of COVID virus in circulation change regularly, so it’s currently recommended to get vaccinated twice per year if you’re at risk. The vaccine is updated regularly to help protect against the most prevalent strain(s).

Mild side effects such as a sore arm or slight temperature may occur and usually pass quickly. Serious side effects are rare, and risk factors such as allergy to certain ingredients are always screened for at every appointment, ensuring your safety. Our staff are trained to manage reactions to vaccines, and are always on hand to support you with any questions you may have.
Receiving Flu and COVID vaccinations at the same appointment has proven to be safe, effective, and efficient. Usually, we’ll administer one vaccine in each arm, after making sure you are eligible, and suitable to receive vaccination.
If you have any questions about receiving two vaccinations at the same time, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
