Please continue reading to find out more about the vaccine, why it's important, and how to register and receive this through us.
There's a big emphasis on receiving a flu vaccination this year, especially if you're eligible to receive one for free through the NHS. That's because this year, it's important we can keep as many people as safe as possible, and ensure we don't overwhelm NHS and healthcare infrastructure during the COVID crisis. Flu vaccines are rigorously tested, and are safe and effective. Please, protect yourself and others, and get vaccinated.
We have carefully reviewed and implemented guidance to allow for enhanced social distancing, providing a fully COVID-secure, safe environment for receiving your Flu Vaccinations across our sites. We can assure patients that receiving their jab will be stress-free, and safe for themselves and our staff members.
Our vaccinations are delivered by our expert team of pharmacists, who receive specialist training in issuing vaccinations, and are experienced in issuing them. Our staff members will wear necessary PPE (personal protective equipment) to ensure the administration of the vaccine is as safe as possible.
A Flu Vaccination gives you the best possible protection against seasonal Influenza. The NHS recommends certain groups of people receive this vaccination annually, and so offer this vaccine to them free of charge.
If you fall within one of these categories, you can receive your Free NHS Flu Vaccine through our pharmacies:
You can register for your Free NHS Flu Vaccine with our pharmacy via the form linked on this page. For more information on the free NHS vaccine (including a list of eligible health conditions), then please visit the NHS website.
We also offer Privately-Issued Flu Vaccinations through our pharmacies. These vaccines are equally as effective, robust, and safe for patients, and will be the best possible way to protect yourself from Flu this winter.
Please note privately issued Flu Vaccinations will incur a cost. Our vaccines are delivered at a reasonable price each year, reflecting on the price of sourcing and administration. Due to the large pressure on stocks this year, we unfortunately cannot yet produce a fixed price for the delivery of our private flu vaccines this year. If you would like to register your interest in receiving a flu vaccine with us, we will make known the price of the service to you before confirming an appointment and booking, and we will allow you to opt-out at any time before this. Our prices often reflect those seen around community pharmacy.
Please complete the form linked throughout this page to register your interest for a vaccine. More details on the next steps once registered can be found below.
We accept and welcome interest in vaccinating different groups and organisations. If you would like to enquire about a large booking, or a vaccination for workforces or a company, then please contact us through email at contact@wellwaycentral.co.uk , where we can discuss and advise further.
Please note: we have been advised by NHS England that our pharmacies must prioritise Flu Vaccinations in terms of vulnerability and necessity for a vaccine. In which case, appointments for NHS Flu Vaccines will take priority over Private Vaccinations, and this may incur delays in receiving a vaccination. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
We're now issuing Flu Vaccinations to patients. Please follow our guide below to receive yours.
