At your consultation, our expert Pharmacists and Technicians will discuss how Period Delay treatment works, how to take it, and any other important information to support you.
Our Private Period Delay Service allows you to delay your menstrual cycle safely and effectively using Norethisterone, a licensed medicine available following a consultation with one of our pharmacists or technicians.
Eligibility
We can treat women aged 16 or over, who would like to delay menstruation due to an upcoming event, holiday, or other specific occasion. Menstruation can usually be delayed for up to 14 days.
We’ll assess eligibility at your appointment, and during your pre-screening questions, if you book online. Generally, we are unable to provide the service in the following circumstances:
- Women aged under 16 years, or post-menopausal women;
- Pregnant or breastfeeding women;
- Recent use of period delay service;
- Allergy to the medical product;
- If you are using hormonal contraception of any form;
- If you are using Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) of any form;
- A history of blood clots (in arteries or veins), or cardiovascular disease;
- A history of certain cancer types;
- Undiagnosed irregular vaginal bleeding.
Pricing
Our pricing depends on the duration of treatment you require, up to 17 days.
Consultation included in treatment price. We won’t charge if we’re unable to support you.
