How it works
You can return any unused or expired medication to our pharmacies for safe, clinical disposal. This is a free service available to everyone in our community.
What we can accept
We can accept household medicines waste in the following forms:
- Pills, tablets, and capsules.
- Liquids and creams.
- Controlled Drugs (please inform us if you are bringing CDs as these require specialist disposal).
- Over-the-counter remedies
- Inhalers
Note: We cannot accept needles/sharps in our standard medicine bins. Please see our dedicated Sharps Disposal Page for more information on how to dispose of needles safely.
