Temporary Issues with 24/7 Collection Point at Wellway Pharmacy Morpeth
Due to issues outside of our control, we’re currently unable to add prescriptions to our 24/7 collection point unless it’s urgent. Please call us if you need to access yours through the point. Otherwise, your prescription will be ready for you to collect from the pharmacy during our usual opening times, and you may receive a text message informing you of this. We expect to resolve this in the coming days, and definitely before the Easter Bank Holiday weekend. So sorry for any inconvenience, and thank you so much for your understanding.
We’ll still be delivering prescriptions to those signed up to our delivery services throughout the Easter period, however no deliveries will be made on Bank Holidays (Good Friday and Easter Monday) as well as Weekends. Your usual delivery day for your medicines may change as a result of this, however we’ll ensure these get to you, usually the day beforehand.
Please remember to order your repeat medications in plenty of time before they’re due, up to 7 days beforehand. GP Practices will have limited opening times over Bank Holidays, and our pharmacies will be busy and so it may take slightly longer to dispense your items. Thank you for your understanding and support.
Our staff work tirelessly throughout the Easter period to ensure our communities have a continued supply of essential medicines and access to high quality health advice. We’re often busier than usual at this time of year, so thank you so much for your support, patience and co-operation – we’ll ensure we can support you as best as possible, as quickly as we can.
We’re still here for you over the festive period – whether it’s support for minor ailments, or medicines advice.
