We wish all of our patients, staff and communities a wonderful festive season, and a Happy New Year for 2024. Merry Christmas to those celebrating, and to everyone – many thanks for all the support during 2023.
We’ll still be delivering prescriptions to those signed up to our delivery services throughout the festive period, however no deliveries will be made on Bank Holidays (Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day) as well as Weekends. Your usual delivery day for your medicines may change as a result of this, however we’ll ensure these get to you, usually the day beforehand.
Please remember to order your repeat medications in plenty of time before they’re due, up to 7 days beforehand. GP Practices will have limited opening times over Bank Holidays, and our pharmacies will be busy and so it may take slightly longer to dispense your items. Thank you for your understanding and support.
Our staff work tirelessly throughout the festive period to ensure our communities have a continued supply of essential medicines and access to high quality health advice. We’re often busier than usual at this time of year, so thank you so much for your support, patience and co-operation – we’ll ensure we can support you as best as possible, as quickly as we can.

Our 24-hour collection point will remain accessible throughout the festive period 24/7 to allow you access to your medicines when it suits you. Please note no additional items will be dispensed or added to the collection point when Wellway Pharmacy Morpeth is closed.
